This is a top quality weld-in tube insert or bung (aka; threaded insert).
They are CNC machined from cold rolled steel can be MIG or TIG welded into the end of your tubing.
The hex head on the end of the bungs we sell stays exposed after being welded into the end of the tube, which makes it easy to lock or unlock jam nuts on your Heims or Johnny Joints.
A very common item when building your own sway bar links, steering linkage, trac bars or control arms.
This threaded step bungs is available in:
- 1/2-20 thread (sway bars)
- 7/8-14 thread (steering or trac bar)
- 1-1/4-12 thread (control arms)
- You choose Left hand or Right hand threads when purchasing.

Nicest on the market!
These are by far the nicest weld in bungs I have seen. The hex in the end cost a little more to manufacturer, but worth it when you need to tighten (or loosen) the jam nut on your steering or control arms!
